In the heart of Germany lies the beautiful Weserbergland. Surrounded by forests, mountains and rivers lies the beautiful, baroque Huguenot town of Bad Karlshafen. Right here where the river Weser makes a big bend, you will find our beautiful campsite. Located directly on the river and adjacent to the town of Bad Karlshafen. Already more than 40 years ago the first camping friends camped here on the banks of the Weser. For more than 35 years we, the Mietzner family, have been running this campsite with much joy and passion.
Our site offers about 300 pitches for caravans, mobiles and tents. Almost one third of the total area is reserved for our permanent campers, so we have for our holidaymakers many places with different categories (e.g. water place, comfort place XL place). Arrive and relax, more space and comfort in our mobile homes! We have 5 mobile homes at the number we rent... directly on the campsite. Well-maintained, modern sanitary facilities, children's playground, pool area and plenty of drinking water points are part of our equipment, as well as camping / bakery store and gas bottle exchange. With us on the camping site you find since newest the Camping Butler. The cleaning machine cleans your cassette from the inside and outside and if you want, the Camping Butler fills your cassette also already directly with sanitary additive. E-bike charging stations, service tool and bicycle garages are also part of our equipment, as well as e-car charging stations.
We are not only in the middle of nature, but we also constantly try to be environmentally conscious and careful with it. With this in mind, we have continued to invest in the environment for you. For some years now you have been getting environmentally friendly green electricity and we have converted our hot water and heating system to solar energy

If you feel comfortable we are satisfied.
This is the motto in our family business. Hiking, biking, fishing or paddling, all directly from the campsite. Massages, sauna and relax you can also in the beautiful Wesertherme which can be reached from the site in 5 minutes on foot.
Since we are located on the German Fairy Tale Road, there are many attractions in the surrounding area, which you can easily visit by bike or by car.
