„The Berger MCX35 was tested repeatedly for individual days over a period of around 3 weeks. Among other things, it was used on a day trip in the car, spent an afternoon in use at a barbecue party on the roof terrace and accompanied us on three fishing trips lasting several hours.“
Bei welchen Außentemperaturen wurde die Kühlbox genutzt?
„Temperatures in our attic apartment were between 20°C and 24°C during our test. In the car, due to intense sunshine and surprisingly high outside temperatures for spring of around 26°C, the trunk certainly reached well over 30°C at times.“

„During our road trip, the cool box in the trunk of the car proved to be extremely practical for keeping food and drinks cool. It was also a loyal companion on our fishing trips, providing the perfect place to store freshly caught delicacies and keep our refreshments cool. „The weight is definitely not negligible, as the cool box already weighs a considerable amount without the contents. We usually carried the cooler with two people when it was loaded, as this was much more comfortable and the weight is already quite high for one person.
The Berger MCX35 fits perfectly in the trunk of a mid-range car, but it fills the trunk quite well and leaves no room for other larger items. If the trunk is already full, the cool box can easily be placed on the back seat.“

„The workmanship is really high quality and the entire cool box is extremely solid and sturdy. The textured handles provide a particularly good grip without the risk of slipping. The lid is also easy to open and close, and it closes cleanly to ensure an optimum seal.“

„We use the Berger MCX35 with a volume of 35 liters. This cool box offers us more than enough space to store food and drinks for up to four people. A six-pack of 1.5-liter water bottles fits in easily and there is still enough space for other items. The amount of space is really excellent!“
Wie zufriedenstellend empfindest die Kühlleistung der Kühlbox? Wie gut kühlt die Kühlbox bei 12 V, 24 V und 230 V?
„The cooling performance of the Berger MCX35 cool box is truly impressive. At an ambient temperature of 20°C and without contents, the cool box reached a temperature of 6°C within around 20 minutes when connected to 230V domestic power, which corresponds to a typical refrigerator temperature. The maximum cooling capacity of -18°C (measured) was reached by the Berger MCX35 after around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
When used in the car at higher outside temperatures, the cool box needed an estimated 30-40 minutes to reach the desired 6°C. Unfortunately, we were unable to record the exact time.
However, it is worth noting that in our test, the cool box's temperature display showed a lower temperature much earlier than the thermometer. The actual temperature was reached about 4 minutes later on the thermometer.“

„Due to its heavy weight and the fact that the cooler's compressor is located on one side, carrying it is somewhat awkward. As soon as the cooler is full, it can only be carried alone to a very limited extent. However, the structured handles, which make it safe and non-slip to carry, are a positive feature.“

„The cool box is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The lid is easy to remove and the inside of the cool box is easily accessible by hand at any point. The outer material can also be easily wiped and cleaned with a damp cloth.“
