Product description

The Votronic Energy Monitor consists of a special communication module (Bluetooth Connector S-BC), which in conjunction with a Votronic Solar Charge Controller (from 2013) with LCD-Solar Computer S and/or the LCD-Battery Computer S or VPC Jupiter with Smart Shunt, additionally transmits the values shown on the corresponding display to a mobile device via Bluetooth. The required app for Android or IOS is available free of charge in the Google Play Store or IOS App Store.Anschlulss 1430 1

The connection of the Bluetooth Connector S-BC is very simple. It is simply plugged between the Votronic Solar Charge Controller and the LCD-Solar Computer S or between the Smart Shunt and the LCD-Battery Computer S or VPC Jupiter using the modular cables included in the scope of delivery.

The device has 2 inputs and outputs each, so that 1 solar controller with LCD solar computer and 1 smart shunt with LCD battery computer or VPC Jupiter can be connected together to one communication module.

In this way, the entire information of the on-board battery, such as voltage, charging or discharging currents and the remaining capacity, as well as all data of the solar system can be read comfortably via cell phone or tablet. In addition, the most important data are logged, graphically prepared and are stored for a longer period of time. Even the output as CSV file for own analysis purposes is possible. Of course, the Bluetooth Connector S-BC can also be installed later at any time.
