12V motor cable for Thule Omnistor 5200 and 6300
The voltage should be at least 12V at the power source. If, due to the cable length, the resulting voltage at the motor falls below 9V at a peak consumption of 20.5A, the motor may stall. Thule recommends using ø 4 mm2 (AWG 11) copper cable instead of ø 2.5 mm2 (AWG 13) when the length of the connection cable exceeds 10 meters.
