Blind spot sticker "Angel Morts".
Mandatory for vehicles over 3.5 t in France since 01/01/2021. It doesn't matter whether it's a truck, van or camper van, everything over this weight limit must now have the blind spot sticker affixed to the vehicle in 3 specified places.
The law does not differentiate between domestic and foreign vehicles. It's all about protecting cyclists and pedestrians in blind spots! Motorhome drivers should use the stickers with the bus.
Below are the instructions on how to affix them to the vehicle:
- Vehicle front: vertically at a height between 0.9 and 1.5 meters. horizontally within the first meter starting from the front of the vehicle.
- Rear of vehicle: vertically at a height of between 0.9 and 1.5 metres, horizontally on the right-hand side of the vehicle
