Activated carbon refill pack for the Katadyn Vario filter. Activated carbon is used for its reducing effect against organic, inorganic and harmful substances in water
It reduces taste and odor substances as well as chlorine, pesticides (lindane, DDT) and trihalomethanes (THMs). The substances are adsorbed by the large surface of the activated carbon. When they are completely loaded, the activated carbon can no longer be regenerated and must be renewed.
