Too warm for a jacket, but too cold without - the ultra-light, insulating PRELIGHT ALPHA hiking vest keeps you reliably warm. The outer material made of robust, windproof PERTEX is complemented by side inserts made of stretch fleece. They ensure that the vest fits well and you have enough freedom of movement. The highly breathable POLARTEC ALPHA filling is super light, warms well and was made from partially recycled materials. Two zippered hip pockets stash your smartphone and granola bar.

PERTEX QUANTUM
Dense nylon fabric: the ideal outer fabric for light insulation jackets with down or synthetic fiber filling. The fine mesh fabric makes it windproof, yet very breathable, soft and supple. It consists of robust, smooth synthetic fibers that are particularly easy to work with. The nylon threads are woven into a mini-waffle structure, creating a tear-resistant, durable fabric that can withstand heavy use.
The ultra-thin material is particularly abrasion-resistant and lightweight, and also very easy to care for. A PFC-free (free of per- and polyfluorinated chemicals) DWR impregnation repels light rain and snow, so the fabric dries in no time. These properties allow the PERTEX QUANTUM fabric to provide full bulk to the insulation underneath - the best conditions for the demands of outdoor clothing and equipment.
