Product description
The extra-long Marienplatz Vest is perfect for everyday wear. On cold days, the vest with its down filling provides the desired warmth and protects the sensitive hip area in particular. The breathable Texashield material is windproof and water-repellent and protects against unpleasant cold and wet conditions. The high collar and hood provide even more protection and comfort.

Responsible Down Standard
This product only contains down and feathers in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). Jack Wolfskin has certified itself and all products in which down and feathers are used in accordance with the RDS. An entire down supply chain is guaranteed for all RDS products. The RDS takes a holistic view of animal welfare from the moment the birds hatch from the egg to slaughter. Among the criteria tested are the ban on live plucking and the ban on stuffing, but also whether the "Five Freedoms of Animals" (1. freedom from hunger, thirst and malnutrition/ 2. freedom from discomfort/ 3. freedom from pain, injury and disease/ 4. freedom from fear and suffering/ 5. freedom to express normal behavior) are observed.
Texashield Pro
Our wind protection material with high wearing comfort, Texashield technology is used in particular for elastic softshell variants, but also for cover fabrics for light insulating clothing or windshells. Texashield Pro is 100% windproof, highly water-repellent and breathable and provides effective protection against cold and wind. The 3-layer material is elastic, ensures freedom of movement and warms thanks to the additional inner layer.
