Product description
Safe and non-slip through the winter - with the Bluestrait Mid ES. The fiberglass grip inserts in the `Fiberbrake' outsole provide unique traction in areas subject to weight. A special winter compound rubber mix remains soft and therefore grippy even in sub-zero temperatures. In addition, the aggressive tread lugs on the outside of the sole provide the necessary traction in loose snow or slush. 3D IPU', a special midsole construction, ensures a perfect fit and harmonious rolling. This is a three-dimensional structure made of stabilizing (3D IPU) and expanded PU. A raised sole edge provides additional support around the foot and at the heel.
To keep feet dry, the Bluestrait Mid ES has a PFC-free PU membrane in the form of a stable three-layer laminate. The entire upper material is also treated with a PFC-free water repellent and the soft lining is made from 70% recycled polyester. The comfort zone of the shoe - the breathable and comfortable insole - is made from odor-inhibiting and insulating merino wool (mulesing-free) and completely recycled PU foam from punching waste. The material combination of high-quality Perwanger Suede upper leather, together with terracare® nubuck leather from the Josef Heinen leather factory and a 100% recycled upper fabric, conserves resources and is durable.
