Evapolar replacement evaporative cartridge
The cartridge contains a patented mineral fibre which is extremely absorbent and prevents the formation of bacteria or mould.
The cartridge should be changed about once a year, depending on the duration of use; if the device is used about 4 - 8 weeks a year, one can assume a longer period of use - since the cartridge also aids air purification, another key factor is the level of air contamination (e.g. smokers etc.).
