Dometic RVS7200 reversing system with 7" monitor and reversing camera

"The idea is good: in every position of the bike carrier you can look backwards. In practice: camera(s) is (are) quite sensitive in switching, adjustment and fine tuning is tedious. The enclosed cable bushing is perhaps waterproof but very clumsy and the cable stands out far to the rear. I disassembled it again. The cable to be laid outside on the bike carrier is grey, the camera and the spiral cable are black. Why this is so is not clear to me. For a bicycle carrier with up-down-down lift function the spiral cable is too short. The picture on the monitor could be better (first impression). There is NO sound from behind (microphone is not available)! Too bad for an actually good idea. Support from Dometic was good." "Die Idee ist gut: bei jeder Stellung des Fahrradträgers ist der Blick nach hinten möglich. In der Praxis: Kamera(s) ist(sind) in der Umschaltung recht empfindlich, Einstellung und Feinjustierung ist mühsam. Die beiliegende Kabeldurchführung ist vielleicht wasserdicht allerdings sehr klobig und das Kabel steht außen nach hinten weit ab. Habe sie wieder demontiert. Das außen am Fahrradträger zu verlegende Kabel ist grau, die Kamera und das Spiralkabel sind schwarz. Warum das so ist erschließt sich mir nicht. Für einen Fahrradträger mit auf-ab-senken-heben-Funkton ist das Spiralkabel zu kurz. Das Bild auf dem Monitor könnte besser sein (erster Eindruck). Es gibt KEINEN Ton von hinten (Mikro ist nicht vorhanden)! Schade für eine eigentlich gute Idee. Support durch Dometic war gut."
