Product description
A new volume in the whimsical and anecdotal 101 Things series
This time it's all about camping: Where do most German campers go every year?
What should you always have in your campervan?
What are the most curious camper extensions?
How did the VW Bulli become a camping star?
And where should you never stand overnight with the camper?
Factual knowledge and humorous from the camper life.
The author reports from her own camping experiences, supplemented by the history of camping.
A book for anyone who loves camping.
To the author
Susanne Flachmann, born in 1969 in San Francisco, established her love of driving fast with her moped license.
Since then she has been fascinated by engines, has often screwed or had screwed on very many of her own, always old vehicles, and gives names to all her motorcycles, Vespas, cars and the camper.
As a self-employed graphic designer and author, she lives in Munich and often works remotely when she is once again on the road in her camper van.
With a history spanning more than 150 years, Bruckmann Verlag is the all-round provider of outdoor and travel media.
In addition to an extensive book program, Bruckmann publishes the magazine Bergsteiger as well as calendars, DVDs, online portals, e-books and apps.
Today, Bruckmann is the leading publisher of sports and active travel guides and one of the most important providers of high-quality illustrated travel books.
