Anti-mosquito Candle

Certain scents and odours are mosquito repellent. Anti-mosquito candles are therefore mainly produced with lemon scent which is perceived as pleasant by humans. Mosquito coils work according to the same principle. After they have been lit, they glow for up to 6 hours and repel mosquitoes through the smoke and scents they produce.

Electric mosquito lamps safely destroy or drive away flies, mosquitoes, horseflies and other flying insects. With insect killer lamps, the animals are attracted by the blue UV light and killed by an electric shock.
Note: The Federal Nature Conservation Act and the Federal Species Protection Ordinance prohibit the use of such devices outdoors, as these lamps also kill useful and protected insects such as butterflies.
The gentler solution is mosquito repellent lamps, which, similar to mosquito repellent candles, emit an odour that reliably keeps mosquitoes away. As with candles, this is done by heating the repellent.

Mosquito Spray

To reliably protect yourself from insects, a spray is a good insect repellent. These sprays contain odorous substances that have a deterrent effect on mosquitoes, mites and ticks. This makes them particularly suitable for long hikes and outdoor activities. The effect of mosquito sprays can last up to eight hours. When using insect sprays, make sure that they are skin-friendly and do not contain chemicals.
Afraid of spiders? There is also an anti-spider spray. It repels spiders thanks to scents and keeps them away for a long time.

Insect protection for drinks

Thanks to universally applicable bottle caps, insects such as wasps or flies cannot get into the bottle. The drinks also stay fresh and sealed airtight. A food net protects food and drinks from insects. Thanks to a folding mechanism, it can be folded to save space.

Mosquito repellent in the camping vehicle

Fly screens are usually installed on all windows of the camping vehicle. If it is not available on some windows or has been broken, you can easily reorder fly screens by the metre from Berger Camping. Door curtains help to prevent insects from entering the vehicle through the entrance door. For box wagons and vans, there are special mosquito screens for the sliding door and the rear door.
