WOMO-RK is the safety profile for curtain-type frameless windows with a small downward overhang, as they are installed on many motorhomes.
With this type of profile, the safety profile is firmly glued to the acrylic pane in 2 parts, 1x outside and 1x inside. No drilling necessary.
The strip attached from the outside serves as a deterrent and tension equalizer.
The supplied angles and knurled screws secure the window in closed as well as in vent position against unwelcome visitors. All functions of the window are thus preserved. The fly screen and the sun blind also continue to function without restriction.
The profiles are thus prepared for you ready for installation, you only need to clean the window and degrease with benzine or lighter fluid.
Remove the protective strip of the high-performance adhesive tape, attach, press on hand-tight, done! 48 hours later ready for use. Please use only the previous window bars during this time.
For Dometic windows, the label on the pane at the top left or right (the bottom line) contains the crucial information.
Selecting the appropriate variant
After determining the usable straight lines, select the largest possible safety profile.
The safety profile is always 2cm shorter on the inside because the tabs are indented by 1cm on each side.
Examples:
Usable straight line is 60 cm >>> WOMO-RK-62
Usable straight line is 49,5 cm >>> WOMO-RK-52
Usable straight line is 42 cm >>> WOMO-RK-37
Then be sure to check the position of the tabs, they must not collide with the latches.
For sizes 27, 37 and 52 there is the S variant with further indented latches (see table).
Attention Does not apply to Polyvision windows! Here please measure the width of the pane, ideally the smooth inner side. Note the number of bars and the distance from the closed pane to the point where the bar can rest on the frame.
