Our Ultralight Insulated Air Mats use single layer technology with Exkin Platinum and Thermolite insulation. The single layer of our medium density Air Sprung Cells provide the lightest and smallest packed mat without sacrificing comfort. Perfect for travel where light weight and smallest pack size matter, but low temperatures are a concern.
Our Air Sprung Cells technology is the reason you sleep better on Sea to Summit sleeping pads. Instead of a typical partition wall construction, Sea to Summit sleeping mats feature a spot-welded construction of interconnected chambers that form a large-area matrix. We call these chambers "Air Sprung Cells." Air Sprung Cells work like pocket spring mattresses, each chamber deforms independently so the mattress can conform to the shape of the body. This design makes our mats more stable, softer, more comfortable, and ensures that you don't bump your hips or knees on the floor when turning in your sleep.
