In our lighter models we have been able to reduce the weight and mass of the Polyurethan (PU) foam by 20% using our vertical Delta Coring method. For the optimal arrangement of the Delta Cores we use extensive mapping methods to analyse the stress zones of the sleeping mats.
In the higher stress areas of the shoulders, hips and feet, the Delta Cores are smaller to ensure a higher level of warmth and comfort. In less stressed areas, more foam is punched out to minimize weight and pack size.
Delta Core-V technology is used in the Ultralight SI and Camp Mat SI models.
