Our Outwell Dunecrest freestanding rear awning with airlock and lockable rear wall is the ideal choice for couples and families who want to use their car for outdoor adventures. The tailgate-mounted awning offers great headroom, large mesh windows with waterproof curtains, a removable groundsheet, easy access and the option to use the main door as a canopy. Whether for spontaneous camping trips or fishing, cycling and beach fun, the quick and easy set-up transforms your car into a small base for your adventures, which you can simply leave standing when you want to explore the sights. It is designed for vehicles and mini campers such as the VW Caddy, Peugeot Rifter, Citroen Berlingo and the like.

Please note that UV (ultraviolet) rays will damage your tent if it is exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Outtex fabric has a much longer lifespan than normal nylon tent fabric. Outwell products are designed for camping use, which is normally 2-5 weeks per year. They are not intended for permanent use and should only be used as camping products. Camping near the sea or lake can increase the effect of UV radiation. This also applies to poles and metal parts.
