Product description
The Dunecrest L is a free-standing rear tent with an airlock, as it can also be completely closed at the rear if you are touring by coach. It has three large mosquito net windows, all of which can be closed watertight from the inside. The front entrance offers several opening options so that you can react according to the weather conditions. The groundsheet supplied is attached to the side of the tent with Velcro, but can also be removed completely. The awning is quick and easy to pitch, has a very compact pack size and offers light, airy comfort on tours. It also fits on buses with split wing doors. The rear flaps or doors can be opened or closed from the inside of the rear tent to maximize space or secure valuables. Suitable for VW T5/T6.T6,1 (Multivan, Caravelle, Transporter, California), MB W639/W447 (V-Class, Vito, Marco Polo) or similar vehicles.

Please note that UV (ultraviolet) rays will damage your tent if it is exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Outtex fabric has a much longer lifespan than normal nylon tent fabric. Outwell products are designed for camping use, which is normally 2-5 weeks per year. They are not intended for permanent use and should only be used as camping products. Camping near the sea or lake can increase the effect of UV radiation. This also applies to poles and metal parts.

The water column provides information about the material tightness. To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.
