The trekking tent
The Nordisk Telemark series is known for its ideal combination of space, weight, ease of use and rugged construction. With the introduction of a two-door PU version, the Telemark tents are now not only suitable for ultralight adventures and long-distance runs, but they are now also the first choice for hikers looking for a stable and robust shelter that neither fills the backpack nor is too heavy.
The Telemark 2.2 PU has the same construction as the original and legendary ultralight and award-winning Telemark 2 ULW tent. There are two main differences from the original to this 2.2 PU version. First and foremost, the fragile "weight is everything!" fabric has been replaced with a strong rip-stop polyester that proves durable and reliable in the most adverse conditions. Second, an additional entrance was added to make it easier to get in and out of the tent - especially at night when you need to get out and don't want to wake the other person.
Other than that, we've kept all the great features of the classic Nordisk Telemark: It has excellent ventilation, easily adjustable guy ropes, a magnetic quick-release closure, interior pockets for storage, and four sewn-in poles in the corners. There is also the option of converting the two outer doors into a sheltered cooking area using the two extra mini poles and the extra guy rope provided.
