Product description
The heat exchanger increases stove efficiency by up to 25%. The unique waffle structure conducts heat from the stove up the walls of the pot, warming a larger area. Because it extends beyond the bottom of the pot, the heat exchanger can also function as a windbreak when used with liquid fuel stoves or cartridge stoves with external burners (such as MSR's WindPro™ II).
Compatible with: 16.8 cm - 18.5 cm diameter pots, including MSR Alpinist 2 cookset, Quick 2 cookset, ceramic pot (2.5 l), ceramic 2-pot set, Alpine 2-pot set and Alpine StowAway pot (1.6 l).
Weight: 170 g
Use: Place the heat exchanger around the pot and let it protrude 1.3 cm below the bottom of the pot. Turn the adjustment knob until the heat exchanger is well seated.
