Construction method
Adhesive gusset construction
All MOUNTAINEERING and TREKKING shoes are manufactured at LOWA using the so-called glue-twisted construction method. This is an old shoemaker's art that uses strong traction to "pinch" the leather of the upper around the last and glue it to the underside of the insole. Finally, the upper is then glued to the sole.
