Responsible Down Standard
This product contains only down and feathers certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). Jack Wolfskin has had itself and all products in which down and feathers are used certified according to the RDS. Complete certification of the entire down supply chain is guaranteed for all RDS-certified products. The RDS takes a holistic view of animal welfare from the moment the birds hatch from the egg to slaughter. Among the criteria tested are the ban on live plucking and the ban on stuffing, but also whether the "Five Freedoms of Animals" (1. freedom from hunger, thirst and malnutrition/ 2. freedom from discomfort/ 3. freedom from pain, injury and illness/ 4. freedom from fear and suffering/ 5. freedom to express normal behavior) are observed.
Texashield Pro
Our wind protection material with high wearing comfort. Texashield technology is used in particular for elastic softshell variants, but also for cover fabrics for lightweight insulating clothing or windshells. Texashield PRO is 100% windproof, highly water-repellent and breathable and provides effective protection against cold and wind. The 3-layer material is elastic, ensures freedom of movement and warms thanks to the additional inner layer.
