This navigation system with a 7 inch touch display has a dashcam that automatically saves a video when a collision is detected, and with lane departure warning and collision warning, ensures greater safety on the road. For ideal route calculation, vehicle profiles with dimensions and weight of the camper and vehicle with caravan or trailer can be created. The driver assistance system provides audible alarms for sharp turns, cross winds, danger of ground contact, narrow roads and more, while the elevation profile indicates steep inclines and steep gradients. The Camper 785 has a pre-installed database with recommendations from ACSI™ and Campercontact™, as well as free parking spaces from Trailer's PARK™. To find the right campsite, filters such as electricity, WC, shower, playground, internet connection and more can be applied. Via a paired smartphone, hands-free function and smart notifications are available for displaying notifications on the display. Voice control allows all important functions to be used without taking your hands off the steering wheel. The navigation system receives traffic information via DAB radio wave or via the Gar-min Drive App, which provides Garmin Live Traffic, Live Weather, Live Radar and more as well as petrol station prices. With the magnetic mount and up to two hours battery life, Camper 785 is also ready for mobile use. This allows videos to be recorded outside the vehicle or the integrated WLAN with the browser to surf the Internet.
