Fully automatic 8-step battery charger with 5A charging current for 12V starter batteries

Just select the charging process by pressing the "Mode" button and the microprocessor-controlled device does everything fully automatically, from reviving empty batteries to completing the charging cycle and trickle charging full batteries. With the Dino power pack, batteries can also be charged directly in the vehicle. No time-consuming removal of the vehicle batteries is necessary.

The Dino Power Pack is suitable for all common 12V lead acid batteries (Normal,Start/Stop,AGM,Gel,CaCa,Maintenance Free,Open). Recommended battery capacities: 10Ah to 120 Ah. Trickle charge up to 200 Ah. Four charging programs are available (Auto,Motorcycle,Frost,AGM). The Dino battery charger has three special charging modes. The Refresh mode extends the performance and lifetime of the vehicle battery. Frost mode adapts the charging process to low temperatures. The AGM mode adapts the charging process specifically for AGM batteries. Fully automatic charging takes place in eight charging steps. (1. break up sulphation, 2. soft start, 3. charge up to 80%, 4. charge up to 95%, 5. capacity test, 6. refresh 100%, 7. trickle charge 100%, 8. pulse charge 95-100%). Two cables with quick connectors (continuous charging cable & charging cable with tongs) are included with the jet-proof and dust-proof device.

Special charging functions:

Refresh mode: refresh function increases performance and prolongs battery life.

AGM/Frost Mode: Frost & AGM function for adjusted charging at low temperature below 4°C or for AGM batteries.

Step 1 (Break Up Sulphation):
Detects batteries affected by sulphate deposits and removes this deposit using pulsating current and voltage for restoration of optimum battery capacity.

Step 2 (Soft-Start):
Checks the battery for chargeability and starts charging only if the result is positive. This prevents damage.

Step 3 (Charging up to 80%):
Charges the battery after a successful test with maximum current up to a charge level of approx. 80%.

Step 4 (Charging up to 95%):
Charges with decreasing current up to a charge of 95%.

Step 5 (Capacity Test):
Teststhe battery to maintain charge. Indicates when the battery cannot maintain voltage. Defective batteries are indicated by the red indicator LED and should be replaced.

Step 6 (Refresh 100%):
Select Refresh by pressing the Mode button to add this mode to the automatic sequence. The Refresh function causes a controlled outgassing of the battery acid. This provides a full charge and increases battery life and performance.

Step 7 (trickle charge):
Maintains charge at constant battery voltage and low charge current.

Step 8 (Pulse Charge 95-100%):
When the voltage drops below 95%, pulses of charge are used to restore 100% of the charge and prevent re-sulphation.
