about the authors
Marie-Luise and Dieter Großelohmann are enthusiastic campers. During their first vacations together, they vagabonded with their tent through Switzerland, Denmark and Canada. Then, however, setting up the tent in the evening and taking it down in the morning took up too much of their vacation time. Since both are enthusiastic vacation cooks, they lacked the necessary kitchen equipment. A small, old caravan, optimized by their own hands - but still without a shower - followed, and they used it to travel through Norway, Switzerland and France.

When the car was needed more and more often for overnight stays during various fairs and other events, a new caravan was needed, which could also provide the necessary sanitary facilities. He accompanied her on many professional trips and also on over 7,000 km through Norway and Sweden. Then it had to give way to a small motorhome (with much less space for living), because every now and then the trailer has to be pulled with the stand! In the meantime, the two drive a slightly larger mobile, which offers a little more space inside.

Brief description
The motorhome is becoming increasingly popular and diverse in its nature. That's why it's important to find out what's really important before buying this not exactly cheap vacation companion. But also the "old hands" in the matter of motorhomes should be given a useful reference book in the form of tips as well as many suggestions for domestic and foreign vacations

What about overnight stays outside campsites, what are the benefits of a solar system and how big is the payload capacity really? In this handbook you will find the answers to these and many other questions, so that nothing goes wrong when you go on vacation in a motorhome.
