Product description
The Kobuk Valley 3 is a compact dome tent and features the revolutionary patent-pending Night Black Sleeping Cabin.
Ideal for weekends or festivals where you don't want to wake up at first light. Coleman's night black sleeping cabins block up to 99% of daylight for a restful night's sleep.
The Kobuk Valley 3 is quick and easy to pitch thanks to its dome design. The tent's comfortable sleeping area provides enough space for 3 people and the handy vestibule is ideal for stowing gear or muddy boots.
The Kobuk Valley 3 is designed to provide reliable shelter in all weather conditions. The waterproof outer tent, paired with wind-resistant fibreglass poles, can withstand 4,500mm of water column.
The fully integrated floor ensures a clean, dry and mosquito-free environment inside the tent and the generous ventilation system reduces the risk of condensation.
All fabrics in the tent are fire retardant and with Coleman UVGuard you have SF50 sun protection.

WeatherTec - provides comfort and protection while you enjoy the outdoors
The water-repellent properties of a tent are measured in a scale called "water column in mm". The unit of measurement indicates how many mm of water the material can withstand on an area of 10 x 10 mm before wetness penetrates. The UK Ministry of Defence classifies a water column of 800 mm as waterproof.
There are many other factors that affect the performance of a tent in different weather conditions. Coleman uses the latest technology and rigorous testing to ensure that our tents provide you with the best possible home away from home, whatever the weather.
Fiberglass Poles
Extremely flexible yet sturdy. The fibreglass pole can withstand strong winds and is an absolute lightweight!
Fire retardant
All tent materials used in Coleman tents have a fire retardant coating. This coating ensures that a potential fire does not get dangerously out of control, but smothers itself.Valuable time for you to get to safety.
UV Guard sun protection
Textiles that have UV Guard provide 50+ protection from the sun's UV rays.

The water column provides information about the material tightness. To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.
