Britta Mentzel, who grew up in Cologne, studied German language and literature, history and art history, and then went on to travel: She travelled as a journalist and chief editor of a large travel magazine between Greenland and Australia, between America's southern states and Jordan, Norway and the Seychelles. She has lived in Upper Bavaria for more than 20 years and now works as an author and editor.
Ulrike Katrin Peters is an author, journalist and photographer specializing in "active" topics related to exercise in the fresh air and in Northern Europe and the Green Islands. But also other destinations worldwide arouse her interest and her desire to write. Many of her travels have been packed not only in articles and reports but also in books.
Barbara Rusch studied ethnology, communication sciences and psychology in her home town Munich. After longer study stays in Italy and East Africa, she has been working as a freelance author and translator as well as a technical editor since 1990. In books, journals, encyclopaedias and exhibition catalogues she publishes on the history of culture and science, pedagogy and psychology as well as on distant (and not so distant) countries.
Linde Wiesner (born 1964) studied German and English language and literature, followed by an editorial traineeship. She has been working as a freelance editor, translator and copywriter for over 20 years. She lives and works near Munich.
