With a lifespan of approximately 5,000 hours, the short-wave halogen infrared tube creates a pleasantly illuminated atmosphere without a strong glare. The revolutionary infrared short-wave technology of these radiant heaters immediately provides comforting warmth when switched on. The high-frequency heat waves penetrate the air without heating it and thus provide energy-saving, extremely effective and targeted heat there, where it is needed - for the persons, objects and materials in the path of the waves.
This is achieved without the usual preheating and associated costs and without the usual heat loss through draught or rising heat.
A particular feature of short-wave halogen infrared radiators is that the heat radiation is not influenced by air movement. The infrared radiation generates a kind of deep heat only when it comes into contact with the body and objects and in comparison to other radiant heaters, does not primarily heat ambient air.
