Product details

Thermal hammock Ideal for trekking tours
High lying comfort

Product description

The extra-large hammock with mosquito net and diagonal thermal compartment. We recommend to all tall people from 1.90 m.

Diagonal insertion compartment for all typical trekking mattresses
You love spending time outside and sleeping in a hammock even on cold days in nature? To protect yourself from the cold from below, your only option so far has been to put a sleeping mat in the hammock. With the result that the mat slipped during the night and then it became sensitively cold from below. That's why we developed the Thermo Hammocks. They have a practical insertion compartment with reinforced seams for an insulating mat on the underside. So you can sleep warm and safe in your outdoor hammock even on colder days. All "typical" camping mats used for trekking tours fit into the compartment (Regular: approx. 183x51cm; Large: approx. 198x65cm). luxury mats' with a thickness of up to 7 cm also fit in the compartment. Although they are relatively large, they can always be used slightly "under inflated", if only because it is more comfortable. In this way they adapt better to the body and the lying comfort is higher.

Flying or crawling, insects no longer have a chance
Are you taller than 1.90m? Then this is the outdoor hammock of your choice! This extra-large ultralight hammock protects you not only from ground cold but permanently from flying insects like mosquitoes and gnats as well as crawling insects like ticks, ants and cockroaches. The entrance is on the side through a zipper. We use very fine mosquito nets with 1000 - 1500 MESH, which exceeds the WHO requirement of 156 MESH by far. This ensures protection even from the smallest pests.

Including spreader bars and drip cords
With the patented spreader bars, the mosquito net can be stretched to create a large interior space. This creates the feeling of a pleasantly protected space. The enclosed rope is used to tension the net away from the body. The two included drip cords prevent water from running down the guy rope to the net when it rains

It also works without mosquito net
You can use the Moskito-Traveller Thermo XXL without mosquito net. Simply remove the spreader bars and the guy rope and turn the sleeping surface downwards. The net nestles underneath the new lying surface.

"The double bottom is indeed rather useful, but it doesn't prevent the mattress from moving, it just prevents it from coming out of the hammock, but as far as I'm concerned, after trying 3 different mattresses, one rectangle and two sarcophagi, the rectangle is the best solution because it fits best in the double bottom, while the sarcophagi tend to move to the left or right, leaving one shoulder "in the gap" I also had a problem with the seams of the mosquito net reinforcements: the net ripped off in one of the corners (about the size of a pinhead), so I sewed it up and glued it on, which should do the trick.
